1.  Independence Day of India is on 15th August.
2.  India got freedom from the British on 15th August 1947.
3.  It is a national festival of India.
4.  This day reminds us the sacrifices of freedom fighters of India.
5.  It is celebrated with great joy and passion by every Indian.
6.  On this day our Prime Minister hoists the Indian flag at the Red Fort in Delhi.
7.  The national anthem of India is sung.
8.  Independence Day is celebrated at every institute including schools and colleges.
9.  The celebrations wakes up the patriot inside us.
10.                We feel proud to be Indians and we must protect our land and respect our freedom.
