Independence Day: 2022 SPEECH WRITING Good morning respected sir, teachers and all my friends. As we all know that we gathered here to celebrate the 75th Independence day of our nation. It is the most auspicious day for us. India was under the control of British rule for many years. Many freedom fighters sacrificed their lives to free India from slavery. India got freedom on 15th August 1947. We celebrate this day with lots of enthusiasm every year. India is developing very fast in every field like education, sports, Science and technology. We have nuclear power also. But in 2019 the outbreak of Coronavirus presented a range of new challenges and we successfully overcome this crisis also. This year Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is an event which is an initiative of Government of India to celebrate 75 th year of Independence and glorious history.
